More Gmail Invites

It's crazy, I logged on today and I have 50!

In the past, they wouldn't give out more invites unless you had already used up the ones you had available. When I heard that everyone was getting 50 all of a sudden, I held onto the four I had left in the hopes that I wouldn't get overloaded. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way...I now have 50, too. The Gmail Spooler seems to be so overwhelmed it's gone down! I don't know if they'll ever actually open it up to automatic signup, though. I think the 50 invites each are a way of saturating the market while still claiming to have an exclusive invitation-only service.
